NOTE: It’s up to you if you want to enter any of the contests we list on this page. It’s well known that some photo contest sponsors ask for free commercial use of the winning entries (or sometimes all of the entries!). You don’t have to guess who the winner of that contest is. Don’t give up any of your rights. If your photo is good enough to win a national contest, it’s good enough to earn many dollars for you in the future. So, enter photo contests keeping this in mind.


The second Epson International Pano Awards is dedicated to the art of panoramic photography. Advances in digital photography and software such as PTGui and Adobe Photoshop has resulted in an explosion in image stitching, especially in the panoramic format. Panoramic film photography also remains alive and well.
The Epson International Pano Awards showcases the work of panoramic photographers worldwide and is the largest and most important competition for panoramic photography.
The 2011 competition is now open for all professional and amateur photographers with a combined prize pool of over US$20,000 in cash and prizes!
The Open category is open to professional, non-professional/amateur and student photographers. The Amateur category is open to non-professional and student photographers only.

Winners will receive a cash prize of $ 5,000 and $3,000 each, respectively, and their works will be published in Zoom Magazine during 2011.
The winners in each category will receive a diploma from The Julia Margaret Cameron Award as Outstanding Photographic Achievement in her category.
In every category Honorable mentions will be awarded at discretion of the Jurors.
All awardees, including the honorable mentions of each category will be published in the book “The Julia Margaret Cameron Award 2011″.
Awarded works will be exhibited during 2012 in a city and venue to be decided.

* Our life is made up of moments that go by unnoticed, due to our daily routine. What would it be like to capture this routine with a camera? What would it be like to freeze these moments of our life that, for many, and even for us, don’t seem to be very important?
Everyday Photo invites you to give importance to the fragments of our everyday life, capturing those instants with astuteness and aesthetic richness.
Get inspired and participate!

Stage I:
• Beginning of the publication stage of the image to participate in the “DAILY PHOTO” contest organized by Blipoint. It starts 06/12/2010 and ends 14/02/2011.
• Only registered Blipoint users can participate.
• Each contestant can publish up to a maximum of 2 images.
• Any technique may be used. Photographs, collages, paintings, illustrations, or mixed format techniques can be submitted.

Stage II:
• From 14/02/2011 until 21/03/2011 the voting process with the star voting system will take place: by way of this voting system, one can only vote once for each image that one wants to receive the most votes; votes cast by Blipoint users with a complete profile that are active in Blipoint will have greater value; votes cast by those users that register and immediately vote will have very little value. In this way, users that have more friends are prevented from ending up in first place.

Stage III:
• Of the 70 pre-selected images, a winning image will be selected by a qualified panel of judges.
• The winners of the “DAILY PHOTO” contest will be notified by email.
• We will publish the name of the winner of the contest in diverse media, such as: digital art magazines, different social networks, the Blipoint blog, and a newsletter that will be sent to all of our web community.The author of the winning image will receive a single prize of a FLASH ORION 400 set of lights; a kit that includes two 400w/s Orion Flashes, two Soft boxes, two light stands, and a transportation bag.
